Where to find us

Located directly on the shores of the Noire River, the base camp of Aventure Rivière Sauvage is 2 hours from Gatineau (Quebec)/Ottawa (Ontario), 30 minutes from Fort-Coulonge (Quebec), and 50 minutes from Pembroke (Ontario). More precisely, it is at the kilometer 25.5 on the Noire River (by waterway), and at the kilometer 19.5 on the Chemin de la Rivière Noire (by road).

The Noire River is situated on the east side of the Dumoine, and on the west side of the Coulonge; these three sister rivers, also known as Quebec’s Triple Play. They hold a reputation for canoe-camping that is well established in Quebec. Nestled in the heart of a huge forest and surrounded by numerous lakes, the Noire and Coulonge rivers are the ideal resting place for your holidays, as well as for adepts of a variety of activities: canoe-camping expeditions, river runs in pneumatic air-tubes, rock climbing, all terrain vehicle and mountain bike rides, hunting and fishing excursions, cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing, ice fishing, snowmobiling and down-hill skiing.

A little bit of everything for each and everyone to enjoy a great outdoor experience in a small corner of the country that still remains a well guarded secret.
